a few souvenirs from Stella's 6th birthday weekend...

January 18th began with breakfast in bed
and a drawing made as a gift for Stella
(Sasha's first ever princess drawing,
without hair - "I do not know
how to draw hair."

Opening the package sent by Isoäiti
from Heinola -
full of nice surprises

for her birthday lunch

it went down well!
(shared with Sasha, Papa, Maman
 and cousin Eliette)

after lunch we went skating
followed by a 'gouté' (fika)
bien gourmand
and a walk by La Moselle
- all with Eliette

the day ended with 3 princessly gifts
(a dress, a book and two doll thrones!)
from Papa and Maman -
all second hand treasures

on sunday Tata Alice arrived
with one of her wonderful cakes

Sasha, Stella, and cousins Abel, Aloïs and Eliette
are all great fans of Alice's creations!

Busy times this December!

Yes Stella and Sasha have grown! A lot!

Besides a lot of playing they, also love to bake. Here is Sasha working on wondrous pepparkakor creations....

She had so much fun, she decided to make one special cake for Sasha, too...

 

Christmas Eve here in Novéant begins in one hour. It is time for all of the Rugiero clan to get dressed-up for the evening. Before signing off here is one last beautiful memory... Our pre-Christmas Eve with Isoäiti and Grandpa.
